THE ROSARY OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL
Prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel before the Rosary
Dearest Mother of Mount Carmel, Queen of Heaven and Patroness of Carmel, we come before you with a humble heart. As we pray this Rosary in your honour, we seek to glorify the Most Holy Trinity, contemplate the mysteries of your Son, Jesus, and entrust ourselves to your maternal care. May we treasure these mysteries in our hearts as we ask for Divine Blessings for all the living and the dead. We also ask for your intercession and that of the Saints of Carmel for all those devoted to you and for our personal needs which we place in your caring hands.(Mention your intentions here). We ask them for the greater glory of God, for your honour and for the good of souls, especially for my own. Amen.

1. Sign of the Cross
2. Invocation of the Holy Spirit
V/ Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful,
R/ And enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V/ Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created,
R/ And Thou shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray
O God, who, by the light of the Holy Spirit, didst instruct the hearts of thy faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
V/ Thou, O Lord, will open my lips,
R/ And my tongue shall announce Thy praise
V/ Incline unto my aid, O God,
R/ O Lord, make haste to help me.
V/ Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
R/ as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen
3. The Apostles’ Creed
V/ I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; on the third day he arose again from the dead; he ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. R/ I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
4. Our Father
V/ Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. R/ Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
5. Hail Mary (3 times)
V/ Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. R/ Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
6. Glory Be
V/ Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, R/ as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
